Crews Mess USS Silversides SS-236



Taken about 15:00 on 10-20-07. Looking aft from the galley toward the forward engine compartment. Officially called the After Battery Compartment, this is where the crew ate their meals. They would store the food on the deck (floor). During their combat patrol, would eat their way back down to the deck.
