USS Silversides SS-236

Taken about 15:00 on 10-20-07. This was my son and I second tour of this submarine. If you are in the Muskegon, Michigan area it is well worth the stop. This is a still fully functional submarine from WWII .

Originally, from Billings Montana now living in Muncie Indiana. Graduate of Billings West High in 1976. In the Marines Reserves from August 1975 to 1981. Co. B 4th Recon. Bn. 4th MarDiv. In May of 1987 I joined the Navy. I was onboard the USS Midway from June 1988 to 1991, with a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War. Got out of the Navy in 1995.
