Marine on the mend

By CLIFF HIGHTOWER

Josh Cooley is in Maryland with family members.
There are signs that Josh Cooley is improving, according to his father, Ed Cooley.
But there is a long road ahead.
"He's in for the long haul," said Cooley.
They see some responses from Josh, even as he sleeps in a medically-induced coma that helps him to heal.
So far, Josh Cooley, 28, a Marine and Pasco County deputy wounded in a roadside bombing in Iraq, has undergone four surgeries and he may require two more.
