At least 22 killed in ten suicide bombings in Iraq

BAGHDAD (AFP) - Ten suicide bombers blew themselves up in separate attacks in Baghdad and northern
Iraq, killing at least 22 people and wounding more than 100, including seven US soldiers, Iraqi and US forces said.

The bombers, who struck over several hours, targeted Iraqi and US soldiers.

Throughout the day, the mood in the city got steadily worse as streets emptied and frightened soldiers on guard duty fired warning shots to keep people at bay.

My earilier posting had the bombing at five.
