Indiana Solider Killed In Iraq

An Army soldier from northwestern Indiana died this week in
Iraq when an explosive device detonated near his vehicle, the U.S.
Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Spc. Adam J. Harting, 21, of Portage, died Monday in Samarra, Iraq, the
Pentagon said.

Harting was assigned to the 42nd Infantry Division based in Fort Stewart, Ga.
