BAGHDAD, Iraq – A Multi-National Division – Baghdad service member died at 12:45 p.m. April 7, from wounds sustained while on patrol in western Baghdad following an attack by small-arms fire.
The servicemember’s name and personal information is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

Originally, from Billings Montana now living in Muncie Indiana. Graduate of Billings West High in 1976. In the Marines Reserves from August 1975 to 1981. Co. B 4th Recon. Bn. 4th MarDiv. In May of 1987 I joined the Navy. I was onboard the USS Midway from June 1988 to 1991, with a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War. Got out of the Navy in 1995.
