CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Multi-National Force-West died March 1 due to enemy action while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and will be released by the Department of Defense.

Originally, from Billings Montana now living in Muncie Indiana. Graduate of Billings West High in 1976. In the Marines Reserves from August 1975 to 1981. Co. B 4th Recon. Bn. 4th MarDiv. In May of 1987 I joined the Navy. I was onboard the USS Midway from June 1988 to 1991, with a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War. Got out of the Navy in 1995.
