Prewar Intelligence

I was watching Hannity and Colmes last night (our break room has a TV, set to Faux News). Hannity was interviewing North and Franks. Hannity asked Franks about the prewar intelligence. General Franks basicly said that Bush went to war with intelligence that turn out to be bad. Also, that Saddam had used WMD before on his own people, so he had them before.

Here is my answer to this question, The UN. weapons inspectors were on the ground before the war. Their findings "Saddam had no WMD". Bush chose to ignore the UN. report and act on the intelligence he was given. So, why didn't Bush ask the CIA for some proof? The Bush administration wanted to go to war. The WMD claim would be an easy sell because of the graffic pictures of the dead Kurds from the 1980"s. Saddam also, used WMD against Iran during that long war. But there is no intelligence since the Iraq/Iran war and gasing of the Kurds to prove Saddam had any more WMD's. Just my thoughts on the subject.
