08/08/2005 - DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Seferino J. Reyna, 20, of Phoenix, Ariz., died on Aug. 7, 2005, in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle. Reyna was assigned to the 70th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Fort Riley, Kan.
