The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Petty Officer 1st Class Thomas C. Hull, 41, of Princeton, Ill., died Aug. 2 on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the Arabian Gulf after being medically evacuated to the carrier for a non-combat related incident.

Originally, from Billings Montana now living in Muncie Indiana. Graduate of Billings West High in 1976. In the Marines Reserves from August 1975 to 1981. Co. B 4th Recon. Bn. 4th MarDiv. In May of 1987 I joined the Navy. I was onboard the USS Midway from June 1988 to 1991, with a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War. Got out of the Navy in 1995.
